The Department of Water Resources approved the Groundwater Sustainability Plan for the Santa Cruz Mid-County Groundwater Basin on June 3, 2021. Information on the Basin GSP, approval of the GSP and comments received from DWR can be found on the SGMA Portal.

Soquel (August 8, 2017) -The Santa Cruz Mid-County Groundwater Agency (MGA) is looking for volunteers representing business and institutional water users to serve on its Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP) Advisory Committee. Applications for Committee members will be accepted from August 8 through August 22, 2017.

Applications for Committee members will be accepted from June 5 through July 20, 2017. A public meeting will be held on June 29, 2017 from 7-9 PM at Congregational Church of Soquel, 4951 Soquel Dr. Soquel CA to provide the public with more information about the MGA and the role of the GSP Advisory Committee.
