Park Avenue Transmission Main/ Bottleneck Improvements Project
Led by Soquel Creek Water District and funded in part by the Sustainable Groundwater Management Implementation grant awarded to the MGA by DWR, the project improves water system infrastructure and reliability. It also redistributes municipal groundwater pumping away from coastal wells to prevent seawater intrusion in the Basin. Most of the construction took place at night.
