In Spring 2022, the County of Santa Cruz was the lead agency on two contracts involving the MGA and issued Requests for Proposals (RFP) for each. One was for the construction of shallow monitoring wells within the Basin, the other for administrative and planning services on behalf of both the MGA and the Santa Margarita Groundwater Agency.
