The Mid-County Groundwater Management Agency's Groundwater Sustainability Plan sets a course for achieving groundwater sustainability by the target date of 2040. California's Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA) of 2014, required the formation of a new local Groundwater Sustainability Agency (GSA) and granted authorities to manage the groundwater Basin.
