Mid-County Groundwater Stakeholder Meetings

We value our community and the input from all the users of our basin, both water agency customers and private well owners.

The MGA has initiated a community conversation with private well pumpers and other community stakeholders within the Santa Cruz Mid-County Basin. Several community meetings have been held since May 2014 that have covered a broad spectrum of issues including local groundwater management activities and studies, the new Sustainable Groundwater Management Act, and next steps in locally implementing the new statewide law with community involvement.
